The Rapids reached the MLS Cup Final in the league’s second year and won MLS Cup for the first time in 2010. \nSince it opened in 2007\, the Rapids have played their home games at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park\, a world-class sports complex with an 18\,000-seat soccer specific stadium and 23 surrounding fields. DICK’S Sporting Goods Park hosts over 1.1 million guests per year at over 50 events\, which in the past have included the 2007 and 2015 MLS All-Star Games\, U.S. Men’s and Women’s national team games and the largest public fireworks show in Colorado every year on the Fourth of July.
