SUMMARY:Planning Meeting: CP Mini Golf Classic
DESCRIPTION:We will have a short meeting to plan the 3rd Annual Central Park Mini Golf Classic at FlyteCo Tower\, on Thursday\, February 6 at 11am at FlyteCo (they now have Panda House Coffee\, as well as the restaurant — so grab a coffee or lunch). The main things to be discussed will be graphics for this year’s edition\, and selecting an organization to support with the fundraising proceeds. \nThe event will run Sunday 5/18/25\, from 12 – 6pm. Similar to last year\, we are expecting about 200 players and 25 sponsors. \nIf you’re able to participate in planning great\, or if you can sponsor\, even better\, or play a round with your friends\, family\, neighbors\, business partners\, all are welcome! We will also need folks the day-of the event for player check-in\, logistical help\, joining the information tent/table to promote our great organization\, and help make sure everyone has a splendid time.

DESCRIPTION:Seeking Volunteers for the Winter Welcome!\nCPBA is teaming up with MCA to request volunteers to help manage and tend to the fire pits and also attend the CPBA Booth at the Central Park Winter Welcome on Friday\, November 22 from 5-8pm in 29th Ave Town Center. \nYou may volunteer for 1\, 2 or 3-hour time slots. \nCPBA members are also encouraged to bring with them goodies and swag to pass out to the public as desired. Please come with festive spirits to join the booth and help people with the fire pits! The MCA will provide gloves\, and volunteers must be 18 years or older. \nVolunteer at the Winter Welcome with CPBAJoin us as we flip the switch on our holiday lights at the 29th Ave Town Center on Friday\, November 22nd. There will be live performances from the Denver Dolls & more\, vendors selling goodies and a Winter Welcome bar selling hot chocolate and adult beverages! \nThe tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6:00pm! \nAdditionally\, there will also be Girl Scouts selling s’mores\, MCA partners giving away special treats and pictures with Santa beginning at 5:00pm. \n*We will close 29th Avenue from Quebec to Roslyn Street at 8am to set up for the event.
