DESCRIPTION:Donate your extra food for those in need.\nWhat: Central Park United Neighbor’s (CPUN) Sustainability Committee has partnered with the City and County of Denver\, the Central Park Master Community Association (MCA)\, the Central Park Business Association (CPBA) and regional food access nonprofits on this food drive\, including Denver Food Rescue\, Grow Local Colorado\, Uproot Colorado\, and Food Bank of the Rockies. \nVolunteer to Help\n  \nDonate Fresh Produce\nYou can donate excess produce from your gardens or fruit trees\, which will be weighed\, sorted\, and provided to Denver Food Rescue\, who will distribute it to other area nonprofits serving communities in need. We can also collect fruit straight from any trees you volunteer. Uproot and GrowLocal will also help us organize a gleaning team to harvest fruit from trees across the community (as well as the rest of Denver). \nDo you have Fruit Trees?\nIf you would like to have a team of volunteers glean (collect your fruit from) your tree(s): \nSign up as a Tree Steward\n  \nDonate Non-perishable Food\nYou can also donate shelf-stable/non-perishable items\, such as peanut butter\, pasta\, tuna\, beef stew\, chili\, baked beans\, soup\, canned fruit or vegetables for delivery to the Food Bank of the Rockies. \nDrop Off or Pick Up Donations\nYou can either drop off your produce at Conservatory Green Plaza on September 28 between 10am-12pm (8303 E. 49th Place\, Denver\, CO 80238) or you can sign up for a pick up. Funds from ANOTG are essential in ensuring SCRGP staff can continue to serve the community and Greenway. \nThis event is unlike any other in the Denver Metro area. After just two years\, ANOTG has established a reputation among attendees as an evening rich in culture\, nature\, and community.
