The Central Park Business Association (CPBA) is holding an art contest for our new Central Park tote bag design! Every month we give away 50 tote bags to welcome new residents to the neighborhood. The welcome bags are filled with goodies and promo items from local Central Park businesses that are members of the CPBA. Bags may also become available for sale through our website.
For the art contest, we will accept designs that represent our Central Park neighborhood and local community—photography, paintings, illustrations/drawings, graphic design, mosaics/collages, … or any other form of art. The final design will include overlaid logos from CPBA and CPUN so be sure to allow some blank “copy space” on the design.
You may submit a singular piece of art or else a series of different designs (front/back, bottom, sides of bags will all need a design). No age restriction for artists, limited to max 5 submissions per person.
The winner will be awarded a $500 cash prize.

Guidelines
- Design: must be representative or inspired by the Central Park neighborhood
- Media Types: photography, paintings, illustrations/drawings, graphic design, mosaics/collages, … or any other form of art. Get creative!
- Age Restriction: none
- Submission Quantity Limit: max 5 designs/person
- Size: 13″ W x 15″ H x 7″ D
- If multiple winners are selected, the prize money may be split amongst winners.
